BURKE
Les Burke, one of the Firm's
founding members, brings extensive experience to the Firm in
practice areas of Condominium Law, Government or Public
Contract Law, and Real Estate Property Law and served as
attorney for Bay County from 1971 to 2007. He received his B.A. and his Juris
Doctor, with honors, from the University of Florida, where
he was a member of the Florida Blue Key, Phi Delta Phi, Pi
Kappa Phi, and Order of the Coif. He is a member of the Florida
Bar and served on the Board of Governors, Young Lawyers Section,
1973-74; member of the Board of Governors, 1984-88; a member
of the Bay County Bar Association; the Inns of Court; and
is the former Chairman of the First District Court of Appeals
Judicial Nominating Commission.
Active
in civic and community affairs, he has served as President
of the Bay County Library, the
Board of Directors of the Bay Chamber of Commerce, St Andrews
Bay Yacht Club, Panama City Country Club, and Peoples First Community Bank
Holding
Company. Mr. Burke is a member of the United Way Association and the American
Cancer Society. Alumni activities involve the University of Florida, the Gator
Boosters, the Florida Law Review Alumni Association, and the Class Representative
of the Florida Law School Alumni.
