W.C. Henry is a senior attorney in Burke Blue’s Panama City Beach office. His practice concentrates in the areas of Local Government Law, Civil Litigation, Employment Law, and Real Property Law. Mr. Henry has extensive experience in Local Government Law working 10 years for the Manatee County Attorney’s Office in Bradenton, becoming Chief Assistant County Attorney in 1999. Since joining Burke Blue, Mr. Henry has served as County Attorney for Bay County Board of County Commissioners and County Attorney for Walton County Board of County Commissioners.

Mr. Henry is a Vietnam veteran. He retired from the U. S. Air Force as a Colonel in 1993 after a 24 year career, serving in various operational intelligence, judge advocate and management positions around the world, including two tours of duty (1977 - 1980 and 1986 - 1989) at Tyndall Air Force Base in Bay County. His decorations include the Legion of Merit and the Bronze Star.

Mr. Henry received the Florida Bar President's Pro Bono Service Award for the 12th Circuit in 1995. For four years, he served on the Board of Directors of Legal Aid of Manasota. He also served on the Manatee County Bar Association’s Law Library and Pro Bono Legal Advice Committees. In the past, he was active in coaching youth baseball and soccer, including here in Bay County. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Military Officers Association of America, the Disabled American Veterans, and the St. Andrews Bay Inns of Court.
